Hi there, I'm Brody
I am a neutered male, white and tricolor Border Collie and American Pit Bull Terrier. ** needs ample daily exercise and mental stimulation ** ** needs help learning good manners **** Training Classes are recommended for me! **** not fully socialized with other dogs - may do best in an only dog household **I am not in the shelter but spending time in a loving foster home to destress from shelter life. My foster family reports that I have been getting along great with their resident dog and young kids in the home, I love to cuddle with them. I am a very good boy!**Brody had a benign mass removed from his right elbow. The incision has healed well but he has developed a pocket of fluid at the surgery site called a hygroma. Hygromas can take months to resolve. Treatment for this is to provide lots of thick bedding and prevent from laying on hard surfaces. It is also highly recommended to provide plenty of exercise to keep him calm in the house. Brody loves to play fetch and is very good at dropping the ball when asked. It is recommended to consult your regular veterinarian regarding Brody's condition and additional treatments that may be instituted to speed up his recovery.** If you would like to meet Brody, please contact his foster mom, Emilee, via call or text at 541-579-6570. Please allow up to 24 hours for Emilee to respond.
