Hi there, I'm King

I am a neutered male, brown brindle Pit Bull Terrier mix. King is an energetic and friendly dog who loves everyone he meets! He’s a big fan of playing fetch, tug-of-war, and anything involving squeaky toys or ropes. King also enjoys cooling off in water, chewing on ice cubes, and his all-time favorite: belly and ear scratches. He’s lived with children (ages 1, 6, and 9) and does well with them but can be a bit jumpy, so supervision with smaller kids is recommended.

While King has a heart full of love, he does have some quirks. He gets overstimulated when seeing other dogs on walks, so he’ll need someone to help him stay calm and focused. He hasn’t lived with other dogs but enjoys playing with them—though his enthusiasm can overwhelm smaller pups. King is not a fan of vacuums and might try to fight them, and he can be destructive when bored, digging holes or ripping up stuffed items. He’s crate-trained and does well with free roam when left alone, provided there aren’t stuffed items within reach. King is a loving, active companion for an experienced home ready to provide him with play, training, and plenty of affection!
