I am a neutered male, brown tiger Domestic Shorthair. I am not declawed. ***My foster family says, Chuck is snacky and focused. He pays attention to one thing at a time. He is a solid napper after playing hard. Add some spice to your life by adopting a spicy kitten! Chuck will need ample time to adjust to his new home as he is still learning that people aren't all that bad! Placing him in his own sanctuary room such as a small bathroom with food, water, bed, toys, scratching post, and litter box will help him settle in and not become overwhelmed. This room should be quiet with hiding places as well as some perches. He will need lots of positive interactions with him people to learn that they are friends, so lots of treats, snuggles, and pets will help him learn to love much quicker. Don't let the hisses and hiding scare you working with him to build him trust will soon have him out of his shell and loving people! Once he has acclimated to the room and you, slow introductions to other animals and the rest of the house can begin. He will require some patience and love until he realizes he is safe and ok, but once you win him over he will be your best friend! Please contact Chuck's foster mom, Erin, at 719-453-2846 by text to inquire about Chuck or set up a visit. Please allow up to 24 hours for Erin to respond.

We do our best to update our adoptable pet listing as quickly as possible. However, there may be times when an animal is not at the shelter. Thank you for your understanding!
