I am a male, black Domestic Shorthair. I am not declawed. ***Staff thinks I will be ready by mid July. My foster family says, My name is Binx and I had a rough start on the street so I started off super duper shy! But fear not, I have come a long way! I have a little more to go but I will come around even more with some time, churu, wet tood, and love. My foster parents are gamers so I love to sit with them and watch them play and get pets in between matches and purr and play with them. I love playing with my toys in my room. They bring the neighbor kids over all the time and I ADORE them and I'm super patient with them. I'm kinda goofy so be prepared to laugh! I'm pretty small for my age so there's no telling how big I will get! I'm like a tiny big cat perma kitten? You'll just have to meet me to find out!*** I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-473-1741 you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed on an animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. We want to be healthy for our new life together!

We do our best to update our adoptable pet listing as quickly as possible. However, there may be times when an animal is not at the shelter. Thank you for your understanding!
