I am a female, black smoke Domestic Longhair (green collar). I am not declawed. ***Staff thinks I will be ready by early November. My foster family says, My foster family says I'm a very special kitten. See, I have a bad leg that the doctors say will need to be amputated, but I'm not scared. I'm going to do super, even without it! They say i love to play and explore and I'm one of the sweetest kittens ever. I do super well with other animals, but may need a day or two to warm up to big animals, like dogs, but it doesn't take me too long. I'm pretty mellow and love to follow people around, snuggle and nap with them. I'm not destructive, mean or shy. And I love being with my sister, Lilith, she's my favorite! If your looking for a pair, we're the best!*** I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-473-1741 you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed on an animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. We want to be healthy for our new life together!
