Hi there, I'm Extortion

I am a female, tortie Domestic Shorthair. ***Staff thinks I will be ready by mid November. My foster family says, Extortion and her brother Bribery were found outside, frightened of any human contact. After much bribing and extortion with treats, they are now sweet as can be. Extortion is learning to love people, but does still have some progress to make. Once she is used to your presence she does enjoy being pet. At this time she doesn't always want to interact, but has been improving. *** I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-473-1741 you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed on an animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. We want to be healthy for our new life together!
