Hi there, I'm Fancy Pants

I am a spayed female, lilac point Domestic Shorthair. I am not declawed. If you are looking for a sweet, gentle, older cat, Fancy Pants (or just Fancy) is waiting to meet you.  She is affectionate with familiar people but can be timid when presented with strange people, sudden noises, or movements, and in changing or unfamiliar situations.  Once she has acclimated, she approaches a familiar person readily, chirps, rubs around feet and legs (especially shoes), and purrs. She enjoys and invites being petted but isn't pushy.  She hasn't shown any indication that she aspires to be a lap cat, and she appears to be uncomfortable with other cats.  Whether she is comfortable with any other pets is unknown.  She would probably do best in a quiet, mature household as an only pet where her boundaries are respected.If you're interested in learning more about Fancy or setting up a meeting, please contact Fancy's foster mom, Anne, at akeiley2000@yahoo.com or 719-271-6746.
